Ronaldo's elder sister blasts German referee Brych over her brother's red card in Juve win

Cristiano Ronaldo's elder sister Katia Aveiro has lashed out at German referee Felix Brych after issuing a straight red card to the Portuguese in their Champions League win over Valencia at the Estadio Mestalla on Wednesday, September 19.

The 33-year-old was handed a marching order in the 30th minute for an off the ball incident with Jeison Murillo and his 41-year-old sister has described the sending off as 'shameful'.
Despite his dismissal from the game, his Italian League outfit still went ahead to win the clash with Miralem Pjanic scoring twice from the spot.

Daniel Parejo had a chance to reduce Valencia's deficit in the 90th minute but his penalty kick was saved by Wojciech Szczesny.

Aveiro, while reacting to the incident posted on her Instagram handle: "Shame on football... justice will be done... [you] want to destroy my brother but God never sleeps...

"Shameful #respectfootball. "

The former Real Madrid star got red-carded for the first time in his 15-year Champions League-playing career, and he thought the decision was harsh.

He finished as the highest goal scorer in the last three editions - bringing his UCL goals tally to 120 in the competition.

And Katia is one of those close to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner to jump to his defence, while the former Manchester United ace could miss a second emotional return to Old Trafford.
