Cristiano Ronaldo has won the 2017/18 UEFA Goal of the Season award for his strike when at Real Madrid against Juventus.



The 33-year-old scored the goal against Juventus in the quarter-final first leg encounter in Turin which Real Madrid won 3-0.

Ronaldo now plays for Juventus after he signed from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.





The Portuguese International faced competition from several contenders including Dimtri Payets' stunner in the Europa League and Cristian Eriksen's goal for Demark.

The 12 nominees were unveiled by UEFA on Tuesday, August 14 and after two weeks of voting Ronaldo's goal has emerged the overall winner.
