Real Madrid and Brazil left-back Marcelo almost broke the internet after he was pictured alongside Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic appearing to laugh at the Liverpool crest.
Brazil take on Croatia in a pre-World Cup friendly at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, with four of Real Madrid's Champions League-winning side in the two squads for the clash.
Marcelo, Modric, Kovacic and Casemiro all met up on Saturday as the teams trained prior to the friendly, and many fans felt they were trolling their defeated Champions League opponents.
Fans of Real Madrid, Manchester United and plenty of other clubs all loved Marcelo's cheeky pose, while Liverpool fans were decidedly less impressed.
But, despite the picture looking as though Marcelo was laughing at the Liverpool crest, footage from the tunnel on Brazilian TV has revealed what really happened.
Marcelo had been chatting to Modric and Kovacic, and, just out of shot, it was Casemiro's arrival that made the trio laugh as he shared a joke with his teammates.
There were a number of other reunions at Anfield that day, with the Croatian and Brazilian teams sharing a number of links.
Liverpool centre-back Dejan Lovren greeted old teammate Philippe Coutinho, who moved to Barcelona, while PSG attacker Neymar embraced his old Barca teammate Ivan Rakitic.
