Emre Can to complete Juventus move after Champions League final

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can will finally complete his long-awaited move to Juventus after Saturday's Champions League final against Real Madrid, according to reports.

Can, who has been sidelined with a back injury since March, has been widely linked with a move away from Anfield this summer after refusing a new contract.

The Germany international's current Reds deal expires at the end of June.

Juventus have long held an interest in Can and are believed to have been negotiating a deal to sign the 24-year-old for months.

And it appears they have made a breakthrough, with Can finally set to join the Italian champions in a free transfer.

Can was pictured back in training with the Liverpool first-team for the first time since March in an open training session at Anfield on Monday.

It is claimed he could play a part in Saturday's Champions League final against Real Madrid in Kiev.

But, according to The Guardian, if he plays it will be the German's final game in a Reds shirt, as he will join Juventus shortly after.

The report claims he will formally complete his move to Turin after the Kiev clash, and will sign a five-year deal with the Italian giants.

It is also suggested the 24-year-old German will receive €5million-a-year in wages.

Jurgen Klopp was apparently keen to keep hold of his compatriot, who has been a regular member of his Liverpool team, but Can has polarised fans with his inconsistent performances and the arrival of Naby Keïta from RB Leipzig this summer will fill his place in midfield.
