Chelsea have now turned their attentions to
Real Madrid striker, Alvaro Morata, after news
broke out that Manchester United have agreed a £75million fee with Everton for their long-term target, Romelu Lukaku.
Blues boss, Antonio Conte, had made re- signing Lukaku top of his priority list all summer and personal terms with the Belgium international, were already agreed.
However, the Premier League champions
failed to seal a deal with Everton, who are
reluctant to do business with Chelsea, since
the John Stones saga two years ago.
Instead, United have swooped in to reunite
Lukaku with Jose Mourinho, who pushed him
out of the Stamford Bridge exit door in 2013.
It leaves Conte looking to revive his interest
in Morata, who he worked with during his time
at Juventus.
Torino's Andrea Belotti has also long been on
Chelsea's list and will be another option.
