Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has met with Real Madrid
hierarchy to discuss his future at the club following reports that he wants to leave this
summer.

The Portuguese superstar was released by his
national team to attend to personal issues, as
he announced the arrival of his new twins
after weeks of speculation over their birth.

Prior to this, the 32-year-old has been linked
with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu following allegations that he defrauded the Spanish tax authorities, and could be sentenced to prison for his actions.

It was gathered that the accusations got
Ronaldo very furious and was ready to quit
Real Madrid because he felt they did not
support him enough.

Real Madrid had since come out to dismiss
the transfer rumours, claiming that the FIFA
Best Player of the year is not guilty of the
allegation, although club President Fiorentino
Perez came out to admit that the player was
'angry' but assured that he was not leaving
this summer.

Reports in reliable Spanish outlet, Marca claim
that Cristiano Ronaldo has met with the hierarchy at Real Madrid to discuss his future,
giving them assurances that he would not be
leaving this summer.

The report also have it that sources at the
Spanish giants say there is an atmosphere of
'tranquillity and confidence' at the Bernabeu.

The likes of Paris Saint Germain and
Manchester United were credited with an
interest in Ronaldo, with suggestions that his
agents had began to speak with the
interested parties.
