Cristiano Ronaldo tells Real Madrid team-mates there's no turning back on transfer exit

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told his team-mates there is no turning back on his transfer away from Real Madrid this summer.

Stories have emerged today that the Portugal international wants out of the Bernabeu in a shock move and that he may already have held talks over a move to the Premier League.

Ronaldo would certainly not be short of suitors if he were to leave Madrid, and it seems clear he's determined to do so due to feeling undervalued by his club.

The 32-year-old has recently been involved in an alleged tax fraud scandal after being reported by Spanish authorities, which may be behind his desire to move.

As well as that, however, Marca claim Ronaldo is unhappy that Real have not stood up for him more throughout the ordeal.

'I'm leaving Madrid, I'm determined. There's no turning back,' the former Manchester United forward is said to have told colleagues.

Ronaldo's departure would be a huge blow to Los Blancos, with their all-time leading scorer showing his importance once again this season as his 42 goals in 46 games fired the club to La Liga and Champions League title victories.

The Portuguese striker has a phenomenal record of 406 goals in 394 appearances for Real and is considered one of the finest players of all time.
