Cheapest tickets for 2018 World Cup priced at $105

FIFA has announced that the cheapest tickets for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, will go for $105, with a place in the stands for the final costing at least $455.
However, for those resident in Russia, they will be able to get tickets for the group stage matches at $19.75 and $109 for the final.

"We wanted to ensure that prices are fair to make the event accessible to as many people in the world as possible," FIFA general secretary, Fatma Samoura, said in a statement.


Prices for the final at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow will range from $455 to $1,100, with opening-match tickets costing between $220 to $550.

At the last World Cup in Brazil in 2014, the cheapest first-round tickets went for $90, while the final cost $440.
