Wales Players Ordered By UEFA Not To Celebrate Victory With Their Kids On Pitch

UEFA Officials have warned players ahead of Wednesday and Thursday's semi-finals not to share their immediate post-match celebrations with their children due to health and safety concerns.

Wales Heroes have been told "the European Championship is not a family party" in the build-up to their clash with Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal on Wednesday night.

UEFA tournament director Martin Kallen said the playing area should be only for players, staff and "people with accreditation cards".

Kallen said: "A stadium is not the most safe place for small kids. "It is nice pictures. We are not 100 per cent against it but we are cautious. "It is getting more and more a habit that entire family members would like to go on the pitch or into the technical area.
"The principle is how far you go with having other people on the pitch than the players. People with accreditation cards should be on the pitch and not more."
