Singer Timi Dakolo is indirectly shading Daddy Freeze over his comment about Folu Adeboye, the wife of prominent preacher, Pastor E.A Adeboye. Recall that Pastor Adeboye's wife, speaking at Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) annual youth convention,said, "There should be no confusion in the house of God. You have to go to your Pastor first to consult for marriage before your parent."
This statement went viral and OAP Daddy Freeze took to his social media handle and lashed out at her, asking if she is manifesting early signs of senility.
"Are these people beginning to manifest early signs of senility?These teachings have no recourse to the Bible! Jesus himself said you shouldn't give money meant for your parents to the temple, let alone this trash. I hope these people have access to the wealth and the airplane she and her husband are flying, when they have finished helping them take all these decisions for them?? ~FRZ"
However, this didn't go down well with several people as he was berated for his disrespectful remark about the preacher's wife.
And hours later, singer Timi Dakolo posted the controversial message on his page and, explained the context in which the she was speaking from. He then went on to slam Daddy Freeze over his comments, referring to him as a 'cut and paste' person, who loves to pick quotes out of context to slander and belittle people because of his low esteem. He said:
"THIS IS CONTEXT WITH WHICH MUMMY @pastorfoluadeboye SAID WHAT SHE SAID, ALL THIS CUT AND PASTE PEOPLE TRYING TO STAY RELEVANT ,ALWAYS PICKING QUOTES OUT OF CONTEXT TO SLANDER AND BELITTLE PEOPLE.ONLY A PERSON WITH LOW SELF ESTEEM WILL EXHIBIT SUCH ATTRIBUTE.THERE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG IN WHAT SAID,SEEKING SPIRITUAL COUNCIL FIRST DOESN'T MEAN YOUR PARENTS ARE IRRELEVANT.FOR MARRIAGE IS A VERY IMPORTANT SPIRITUAL UNION.WE ALL NEED SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE ."
