Hollywood actress Thandie Newton who won the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in the recently conducted Emmy, gave a rather controversial speech as she accepted her award.
While receiving her award, Newton who is a cast on the popular television series Westworld, revealed that she doesn't believe in God, then went on to refer to God as a woman.
"I don't believe in God, but I'm going to thank her tonight," she said
She continued; "I am so blessed. I am so f*ucking blessed. To work with the people that I have gotten to work with. The cast and crew of - I can't believe I'm here - the cast and crew of Westworld, I love you all so much."
