Nollywood's New AGN President, Emeka Rollas Sends Important Message to Aggrieved Members

After surviving many years of operating in different factions, the Actors 'guild of Nigeria (AGN) has taken steps to harmonise the association with the election of a unity government at a convention in Enugu state.

Emeka Rollas who defeated Emeka Ike who ran a parallel government with Ibinabo Fiberesima during the last administration, said his first assignment as the president of the guild is to unite all aggrieved members and encourages unregistered actors to join the guild.

"So in this new administration, we are not talking about the fight, I want to tell all members who are in court or in the police station to please sheath their swords, let us deal with our problems according to the provisions of the Constitution of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

"We are advising everybody who has anything against anybody to please come back to the guild so that we can settle it," Rollas said

The Board of Trustees chairman, Ifeanyi Dikeh and other members Sunny Macdon, announced Emeka Rollas as the elected president of the convention.

"We now have a new leadership, that will steer the organisation for the next two years pending when a proper national election will take place because this is a stop gap to bring peace," Ifeanyi Dikeh added.
