Barely days after Jay Z, questioned Kanye West's loyalty in his new album, Kanye has split with Jay Z's Tidal and the duo may soon be dragging each other to court over if intervention is not made early enough.
In case you missed the recent drama: Jay Z dropped his 13th studio album 4:44 and one of the standout track is 'Kill Jay Z' in which he dragged Kanye West, branding him insane.
Jay Z said:
"I know people backstab you, I feel bad too / But this fuck everybody attitude ain't natural / But you ain't the same, this ain't KumbaYe / But you got hurt because you did cool by 'Ye / You gave him 20 million without thinkin' / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, fuck was he thinkin'? / 'Fuck wrong with everybody?' is what you sayin' / But if everybody's crazy, you're the one that's insane."
Now, TMZ, has revealed Kanye has severed ties with Jay Z's Tidal following an altercation over money.
Sources close to the company said;
"Sources connected to Tidal tell TMZ, Kanye has been unhappy with the company for a long time. We're told Kanye has complained the company owes him money-more than $3 million.
Our sources say a month ago Kanye's lawyer sent a letter to Tidal, saying the company was in breach and the contract was terminated. Over the next 2 weeks lawyers for both sides tried to resolve the conflict but failed.
We're told 2 weeks ago Kanye's lawyer fired off a second letter declaring again the contract was over."
TMZ added that Kanye's Life of Pablo album increased Tidal customers from 1 million to around 2.5 million, and the company agreed to give him a certain bonus.
But Tidal sources says Kanye has yet to "deliver on various contractual obligations, including a number of music videos", that they will sue him if he goes to another streaming company.
